If you're not satisfied with your current employment, business, or life in general, then something is missing from the core of your being. You need to feel fulfilled whether you're a stay-at-home parent, a retiree, a college student, or years into a career. 

We all need to wake up excited about the new day, even if we're not even planning to leave our homes or apartments. God has given us the ability for enjoyment, and we need to take it in order to live the fullness of what God has waiting for use. 

Most Christians choose to live by their emotions, blowing with the wind of ups and downs.  They're happy if things are going well, but upset when they're not!  This is not the way God intended for us to live our lives. 

We can also make the wise decision to live by faith instead of our emotions.  What this means is that no matter what is happening in our lives, we remain focused upon God's Word. The Bible is filled with promises that belong to us that will bring us whatever we need or want.  

We have the ability to realize victory in Jesus Christ whenever something goes wrong and whenever things just don't feel right or we're unhappy with our lives. Things normally seem out of sync when we aren't in line with what God has planned for our lives.  If we don't know what that is, then no matter what our age, we need to seek after God's will or we will never feel complete or at peace.

Where To Get Christian Career Guidance

Where do we go for Christian Career Guidance?  Our pastors, a professional guidance counselor, career or employment testing services? 

When we're ready to get on board with God's plans, the door will open for God's guidance.  We don't have to spend a fortune and many years to find out what we should do with our lives, all we need to do is look to God.  

That's not to say that we shouldn't go to our pastors and Christian leaders for guidance and to confirm what we hear from God.  And we can certainly speak with college and university counselors for education guidance if we believe that it's needed. However, our main source of direction should come from God.  

We do that by going straight to our source and Guide, Jesus Christ.  By the Holy Spirit He will show us the special work that God has waiting for us to fill.  No matter how long God has waited, He will work with you when you decide to seek His will for your life.  He can't just hand it over to you because you have a free will. So you have to "ask first" for His guidance by the "prayer of consecration" and then use the prayer of dedication to commit your life and your will to Him.  

This is the hope that I have for you:

That you discover the unique work you were meant to fulfill.  We all have a special calling in life.  Maybe it's to go into the ministry, to have a business or to have the career of your dreams. If you're retired, it could be volunteer work or community service.  Whatever it is, you need to seek God for guidance.  Making God your Christian career guidance counselor is an action that will turn your life around.  

God's needs His people in the work they were meant to do to fulfill His plans and purposes.  He has given us all special talents and abilities for this reason.  When we use them within our unique calling, something amazing begins to happen.  This is why we need to look to God as our Christian Career Guidance Couselor.  He will teach us how to serve Him, help us to love what we do, and provide us with financial and material blessings at the same time.  I FIND THIS SO EXCITING!

God will show you the way, even if you're in debt with little money. In fact this is the perfect time to seek your calling. As you look to God for financial growth and increase, He'll lead you to the work where you will have the most success and fulfillment. 

All He requires is that you trust Him to lead you in the right direction by faith. Everything else in your life will fall into place because God will give you more than just money and a job He'll give you a special ability to accomplish whatever you have to do along the way.  This is called "God's anointing power."

There's No Reason Or Excuse For Not Looking To God as Your Christian Career Guidance Counselor

I realize that what I'm saying sounds easier said than done.  I used to feel so trapped and burdened by life that I couldn't see the possibility of expressing the dreams that were deep inside me.  I've also known many people who had dreams that were easily fulfilled.  But whether dreams are easy or difficult to live, what matters most as a Christian is letting God define them for us.  

Once I learned to put aside what I wanted and look to God for what He wanted was when I began to get the picture of what I should do.  And like everything else, God's will for me continues to unfold in my life step-by-step.  So taking that first step of giving your life over to God begins a cleansing process of eliminating the problems and doubts that have been keeping you from moving forward.  This is why you can't make excuses, because God will show you the way and be with you all the way.

It's That Simple!!  You too can graduate with honors to achieve the life of your dreams.

Here's How God's Christian Career Guidance Works

Once you ask God for guidance to discover and realize the dreams He has given you, automatically you will receive divine assistance to accomplish your work.  But you must first believe by faith that you have received.  This is what you should act upon by faith:

1.  God's anointing (God touching others through you by the Holy Spirit) - you will be a blessing to others in your work and God will cause the right people to help you succeed. You will operate in God's ability beyond your own ability.  

2.  God's Ability (power we have in Jesus name to do all things) - use this to accomplish each step of your calling whether easy or difficult.

3.  Guidance (inward leading) - the Holy Spirit will help you begin your career or business and He will also be your guide the rest of the way.

God is always speaking to us, but many times we aren't paying attention.  However, when we begin to listen and act upon what we hear, God's voice will be easier to perceive.  So it takes practice and patience.   

If we choose to use what we've been given for success, we will begin our exciting journey.
