Christian Career
Switch
A career
switch should involve God's guidance to insure that you are making the
right decisions and to follow the correct path.
Get On The Right Path With
God
Should
you get on the wrong career path, let God lead you back.
However,
make sure that you've actually moved in the wrong direction before you
make
plans for change. Making
a hasty change
can cause much chaos in your life from shifting from one
career or job to another. You might even find yourself worse
off than before you made the switch.
Mistakes
can be easily noticed by an inward leading that things aren't right or
an
outward sign if you are encountering many difficulties.
However, it's important to note that even if
you're experiencing set backs, you feel overwhelmed or a you have a
dislike for
what you're doing at the moment, you still might be in God's will for
your
life. The only problem in that case scenario would be that you
are out of sync with God and are not listening to His guidance.
To know
whether you're in God's will, go to Christian
Career Search for help in this area.
Getting Back On Tract
If
you
find that you're moving in the right direction but just need to keep
the
channel of communication open between you and God, continue with the
guidance
you receive. You
will begin to see positive
changes occurring in your life and career.
If you find that you made a mistake in your
career choice:
- DON'T PANIC!
Get back on tract with God right away and He
will show you how to take the best path to reclaim His will for your
life.
- Ask God for guidance right away. If you need someone to
pray with you, find a
trusted person you know or from your church who understands how to pray
for
your situation. Don't pray with someone who doesn't believe
in you.
- Work
with
God closely and never move too quickly.
Be relaxed and enjoy the process.
Each step should be exciting!
Looking to
God means that you don't have to rush. God wants you to enjoy
your life and share His peace with others.
Guidance For Your Christian
Career Switch
God
will
abundantly bless you in all areas of your work and
or training/education at this moment, if you are currently stuck where
you are or you need to take time to move forward. It's very
rare to make a switch overnight. There are factors to consider such as
how one's family will be affected or income. These things should be
worked out before a career switch is considered.
However, no
matter what the obstacles, God will help you overcome each as you
continue. So there is no reason to worry and stress.
Peacefully allow God to show you the way. Take one step,
accomplish it and then move on to the next. In time you will
be lead out of your work to your career choice or you will flouish in
your current work and move upwards or in the direction you desire to be
placed. If it's business ownership, then you will be
led in that direction.
Whether
you've experience it or not, as you look to God He will
will advance you no
matter what your age, background, or worldly status in life. God
doesn't see
you the way the world does, He sees you through His Son Jesus Christ
with the
eyes of all possibility.
You
are His creation and He doesn't create failures! Just keep in
mind that He is the one that will promote you not your manager.
God will work in your life and rise you above the office
politics or favoritism that might exist where you are employed.
As I've said,
even if
you've moved in the wrong direction, He will help you get back on tract
-- so
don't give up!
Make Your Christian Career Switch
by:
- Establishing a relationship with Him
as
your Heavenly Father who loves you and has your best interest at heart.
It will
make the discovery of your career difficult to determine if you don't
know how
to communicate and listen to God.
- Taking
the time to be quiet and at peace.
Find a place where you can be alone to clear your mind. After bedtime
is a good
time for many people when the house is quiet.
Or if you can, take a short vacation or retreat to a
quiet place like
the mountains.
- Practicing to be guided by God for
your career switch and for you life in general.
In time you'll learn to hear Him guide,
encourage, and strengthen you.
- Remaining
thankful throughout each day no
matter what happens on the path to your career search and in general. It's beneficial to your
faith and success in
life to thank God daily. This implies that even in difficult times, you
believe
that God will deliver and prosper you.
Again,
enjoy your life, the process of your Christian career switch and most
of all
your relationship with God.
