Destiny Discovery Through Christ -II

For your destiny discovery through Christ use the prayer of consecration and dedication.

God is waiting to anoint and equip you for the work that He has given you.    But before you can learn what God has designed for you, you need to realize that your ministry is not of your own doing.  

1 Corinthians 7:17:  But as God has distributed to each one, as the Lord has called each one, so let him walk. And so I ordain in all the churches.

 Destiny Discovery Through Jesus Christ

While the prayer of dedication and consecration is to be used for God's guidance throughout your life along with His Word, your ministry will begin as soon as you take possession of it through Jesus Christ. You may have heard within your heart a still, quiet voice or even an audible voice leading you to a special work or you may not have heard anything at all. 

Some Christians may have felt a special longing or dream throughout their lives or realized a special talent while others might have never been aware of any special desire to do anything at all other than to serve the Lord.  So as you can see, we might have signs and wonders or we may not experience any evidence at all that God has a purpose for us. This is why we must walk by faith and not by sight!  

We must always look to God and His Word over our emotions. The Bible is forever constant, whereas our emotions can rise or fall depending upon what is going on in our lives or just our mood in general. By remaining firm in God's Word, we will accomplish what we never thought possible with a strong commitment to our calling.      

Looking at how we feel instead of what we know from God's Word, can cause us to lose out on what God is telling us, showing us or trying to give us.  

So right now where you stand, no matter what type of work you're doing, or even if you're not engaged in work, you can begin your destiny discovery through Christ by accepting whatever God has designed for you with blind faith and thankfulness for the privilege of serving Him.  Silently you can decide that your will is God's will and you want to follow Jesus, no matter where that will take you.

As a note, for those of you concerned, your destiny discovery through Christ will never take you away from your family if you are married and have children.  It is not God's will to split up families and have children abandoned.  Remember, you can begin your calling with what you're doing at the moment, even if you're a stay-at-home-parent or you're retired.    

I can assure you that when you do this you will make an automatic change in your life that will give you an inner strength and peace. You'll discover an outer confidence from knowing that you can lean upon God and not have to stress about life or your work.  

Once you decide to trust God with your life and your will, then you are ready to ask God for guidance through the  prayer of dedication and consecration, asking God by faith to show you His will for your life.  As the first step in this process you will ask God to reveal if you are a Priest as a church leader, or a King through a market place ministry if you don't already know your specific calling.

After saying the prayer you will hear either from God right away or you will have to wait upon God to learn what you need to know beginning with the identification of your ministry and then the steps you are to take as you continue with this prayer.  By spending time with God you will hear His guidance.  Use the principles of faith that you have learned from my God's Wealth Plan Studies and other information on this site to receive from God.

It's important to keep this process simple.  If you do, you will hear from God freely.  Why?  We are told to receive the Kingdom of God as a little child or we will not enter in according to Mark 10:15.
