If you were asked what financial freedom means to you, your mind would probably conjure up a vision of having all your bills paid with a feeling of relief. Perhaps that vision would also include a new home, a dependable car and the ability to go on regular vacations.

That is a great vision, but it is only half the concept.  There is another side to it that will keep you from realizing a continual money growth.  It's not enough to just dream about what you want, you have to go deeper than a mere vision.  No matter how much money you have, you will always be afraid of losing it if you do not understand this one concept that is at the core of your financial success. You must define your financial goals. 

What Do You Want From Your Money?
 
Financial freedom leads to your inner and outer happiness.  It is also the power to discover that path within you.  This means that you have to create the path where you want to go.  It won't be created for you out of your financial need.  You must clearly decide your goals.

Without defining your financial goals you'll continue to live from paycheck to paycheck only wishing you had more money, rather than realizing growth.    When you take the time to think about it, how can you have control over your money if you don't know what you want from it?  It's like buying the equipment to do woodworking, but not knowing what you want to make.  It's just going to take up space without use. 

This is like the power you hold within that leads to your financial freedom.  Without knowing where you want to go with your money, you'll never get anywhere -- which is where so many people are today with their money.  However, there's no need to feel badly.  We learn about money by precept and example.  We came by our money attitude from our environment, but that doesn't mean it's not possible to change.  Not only can you change, but you can look forward to the money growth fulfillment this site is going to help you achieve.    




Choosing Your Financial Freedom

Before you continue reading you will need to determine your ultimate financial goal or destiny.  For those of you who feel stuck in debt and without the time to choose your path to a continued financial growth, I want to remind you that you can't afford not to find out this important information about yourself that will ultimately lead you out of your current financial situation and into a state of financial freedom.

Relax and enjoy this time you spend, knowing that you are closer than you ever have been in your life to looking at money in a way that will fulfill your financial dreams. 

Remember this one fact if you start to give up because you believe you don't earn enough money at present to make a successful change in your financial situation.  It's not the amount of money you have, but the way you think about it and handle it. 

There are millions of people at this moment who make a million dollars or more per year who are in debt.  The only difference between them and you is that they have a larger debt than you have.  However their debt to income ratio is probably the same.  They live in constant turmoil about how they're going to continue their lifestyle, so it can't be the amount of money that empowers us to live financially free, but about knowing what we want from money to know how to take control of it.   

Creating Your Financial Freedom
 
When my husband and I took our Good Steward Class in ministry school, it had a great impact on our lives.  Up to that point we were only looking at our work efforts (employment) and giving (for us tithes and offerings) to build our financial growth.  However, that class taught us to also follow a practical approach to money that gave us understanding of what we wanted it to do for us. 

It also inspired me to create this website to help others use this difficult financial time to build their money for the rest of their lives.
