The Law Of Reciprocity

God has provided us at salvation with an initial measure of faith seed to receive whatever we want, but we must be willing to sow that seed into fertile ground (our spirits) for what it is designated for in the areas of spiritual, intellectual, and physical (health, healing, material, financial) growth or increase. 

God has given every Christian faith as Romans 12:3 tell us. 

³ For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.  

When we learn to use our faith by sowing faith seeds, God will give us more faith seeds or developed faith for receiving what we ask of Him faster and in greater ways because, simply put, we will have more faith. Doing this will cause us to experience increase or abundance for the rest of our lives because it is a spiritual law that we are to walk by faith instead of by sight to receive anything from God. 

2 Corinthians 5:7

⁷ For we live by faith, not by sight.

Look up (click on the link for the online Bible) the following scriptures for the Biblical law of reciprocity, God's formula for abundant Living and read over it a few times to understand the concept of giving cheerfully so that God can bless us abundantly. 

2 Corinthians 9:6-11

The promises are clear... as we sow our seed we will begin to reap! Sow love and you'll reap love. Sow joy and you'll reap joy. Sow money and you'll reap money. Sow bad things and you'll reap bad things!

There is little information to consider here. Whatever you sow you will reap. And if you don't sow, you won't have a crop to reap.

The Bible uses seed to teach this important principle and others because it is not only a simple principle we can all understand today, but in Biblical times people were very close to the land with their very existence depending upon it.  And after all, we can all associate seed with producing new life.  So the very seeds we sow are creating new life for more money, health, healing, wisdom, knowledge and whatever it is we plant and fertilize our seeds to obtain.  This is God's spiritual law of reciprocity.

God's Formula For Abundant Living

With God's formula for abundant living revealed, you can see how simple it is and how difficult we can complicate it with our arguments for why life is against us and is holding us back in poverty or sickness, addictions and whatever it is we need for abundant living.  

2 Corinthians 9:6-11 give you access to God's truth for abundance in all things. However, it goes deeper than the spiritual Laws of Attraction and Cause and Effect for expecting more money just because we choose to believe we have it as the popular programs of the world, such as the "Secret" teach.

While it's true that the seeds of faith must be planted in our  hearts, cemented with faith, we must also give the same of what we want. These verses tell us that we must plant seeds for what we want.

This is where the Bible works to make us a whole person through Jesus Christ. If you want more money, physically and spiritually sow your seeds of financial giving as Malachi 3:10 instructs us to do. Giving money in obedience to God will bring financial increase with a "windows of heaven blessings" as we put faith over it as well as faith for others to receive their needs from God.  Believing for money growth should include wanting to use it as a blessing to others. 

God gives us guidelines for how to give our money, but if you are in debt and have very little money, then your giving must be by means other than financial. His formula for abundant living will work for you even if you have little or no money to give.

You can give of yourself in some capacity. You can decide what type of giving it should be.  If you don't know, God will guide you. But whatever it is, you must combine your physical actions with God's spiritual laws.

Just remember to thank God in all things and be willing to be a doer as well as a receiver through Jesus Christ and watch your debt disappear and the money come to you as if you were a magnet!

In conclusion I would like to say regarding this formula for abundant living God's way, that you should always keep God at the center of your giving.  This will keep your motives pure and keep you from giving for the sake of receiving.  We are to give out of obedience with a cheerful nature, expecting to receive for the purpose of having more time to serve God.
