What does living by the Spirit of God mean to you?   

Most people don't realize that the most dramatic and miraculous changes in their lives come from the inside out rather than by an external condition, which in some cases is only superficial.

No matter what you desire to become in life, there's always the necessary condition of change that must occur if growth and success are to be realized.

Once you know what it is you wish to attain in life, you're on the path to your highest calling. It doesn't matter what it is, as long as you've received an inner guidance or peace about it from the Holy Spirit.

For many that's easier said than done. Most people intellectualize everything they do which makes it difficult for them to understand spiritual things.

For example, I have a relative who was always the number one student in her classes throughout high school. She's a devoted church-goer, but she finds the Bible impractical for modern thinkers. She uses a few key verses for inspiration, but that's where it ends with her because she can only understand the Bible with her mind, rather than her heart.

Because of her intellectual success as a child, she never understood the spiritual transformation that occurred within her at salvation, therefore, she cannot identify with Holy Spirit living.

With an attitude that she knows everything there is to know about everything, she doesn't believe it necessary to read the Bible or understand the relevance of spiritual growth.

She has a good heart, but an underdeveloped spirit. She is also one of the most nervous persons I have ever known. However, she endeavors to fight her stress by suppression and mind-control which has given her short-term relief at best.

Holy Spirit living will give one great wisdom, knowledge, and ability beyond that of all human reasoning. It is the path to victorious living through Jesus Christ!
 

 Inspiration?

Although the Bible offers us inspiration for our times of emotional need, it gives us so much more. It's a book of life that can come alive within us as we feed our hearts or spirits with it daily.

I know, that sounds ridiculous to some, but it's the way God works and it's the way to develop your spirit or heart.

We try to understand it by our comprehension of life as we know it, but in most cases what we learn is contrary to what God has to say about us, the world, and the issues of life.

God is our creator, and as He said in Genesis, He created us in His image. As the creator of all things, that says so much more about us than how we normally regard ourselves. His ways and thoughts are not our ways or the worlds, they're spirit and they're life. They can successfully accomplish all things in us and through us.

God expects us to grow with Him in His image, and as we do, we'll develop a Holy Sprit lifestyle, which is one that gives us guidance daily to grow in all the ways of God and to discover our special and unique calling.

Allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us will allow us to take control over our lives to create what we want, just as God created the heavens and the earth.

Whatever it is that you want, you can create it through God's ability.

 Understand God's Ways

It's with our spirits that we communicate with God. As we learn to communicate His way, we begin to see our ability rise to a level of producing whatever we desire from the inside out.

This means that when we push ourselves to work hard and be ambitious for money and success in our work, we're speaking from the world's point of view or our intellect rather than our spirits.

Many people find themselves depressed or disillusioned when they realize their careers were chosen mostly as a money source without consideration of personal fulfillment and joy.

However, when our words, thoughts, and actions reflect God's words, we're operating in life from our spirits and are then able to discover our special calling, have success in all that we do, and experience a new enjoyment of life.

We'll understand that it isn't necessary to work hard in a job we can't enjoy to earn a great living. We can relax in God's ability to achieve and become whatever we want. And, we can do that even during difficult financial times.

For instance, we can create for ourselves positive confessions or affirmations based upon God's Word for financial debt reduction, financial increase, peace, more wisdom, health or anything we need.

Doing this will feed our spirits faith food. Over time our minds will be transformed for success, while our souls or emotions will be stabilized by faith during difficult times.

So the next time you feel discouraged that life isn't going your way because you haven't accomplished your dreams or you don't have a dream, stop complaining and start putting God's Word within your heart. It will turn your life around through Holy Spirit Living and will in time lead you to your destiny.
 

 Holy Spirit Living To Begin The Creative Process

Where do you begin to create or realize your dream(s)?

It comes from within your heart. Since this is the place where you communicate with God, this is also the place from where you receive guidance that is unique and especially for you.

It may come in an instant or you may have to wait a time for it, but make no mistake, God is always guiding you, it's just a matter of your listening and hearing. As you act upon what you hear, you'll be taking the first steps into Holy Spirit living.

The first time you ask for guidance is the moment you open the channel of hearing God speaking to you. It's also the moment you realize that you're not alone in life.

Once you take this truth to heart, you'll begin to partner with God on all important aspects of your life. You'll also realize the power of creativity that you've been given to accomplish anything you desire.

So for this study, your hearts desire would be your goal in life, special work, or destiny. It's what you want most in life and it will develop your heart for Holy Spirit living.
