We left off with the last lesson discussing the need for having  the  "kings and priests point of view " or "mindset "  Here you're going to find out what that is and how to have it.  

Assuming you now have a general idea of what a King and a Priest is scripturally speaking, we can continue.  Let's look at the scripture from Revelation 1:6 which tells us that God has made us kings and priests to His glory.  

This certainly denotes a function in the body of Christ for each of His children.  Oh yes, we were all given a purpose.   Our lives are all important to God.  We need to fulfill our destinies!  God is relying upon us to take our places in the Body of Christ to be a King in the world through our work or businesses, or by becoming leaders within our local churches.

Read Revelation 1:6 2 or 3 times to get it into your heart.  

Kings and Priest Bible Study Scripture:

Revelation 1:6:  And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen

God has a plan for your life that is different than for any other person in the world.  Once you decide to walk in that plan and do it, there are no more excuses for you to feel "unworthy" about you or your life.  

There is just no room for self-pity once you see the proof that God made you worthy through His Son Jesus Christ.   Through Jesus He has entrusted a very special work or task before you. As you seek it you will find it, and from that time forward, you should not waste time feeling insecure, but ready to serve God by seeking His guidance.  He will make you everything you need to be.

The Kings and Priests Mindset

Realizing how important you are to God, should give you a different mindset whenever you pray the prayer of faith for what you need or desire as well as the prayer of dedication and consecration for God's guidance.  You should feel the strength of God's power working in you, with the knowledge that you are a success with God because He sees you through His Son Jesus Christ. 

This is what I mean by the "Kings and Priests Mindset." Knowing that God has already made each of us a king or a priest should give you the confidence you need when you pray.  It should give you the boldness to know that your prayer was heard and answered "God's way."  

This means that when you ask God for a certain amount of money, for example, you should also ask Him for the guidance and wisdom to receive it.  Many times God answers our prayers but we don't receive them because we're looking for the answer according to our own mindsets that are based upon a lifetime of failure, stubbornness, selfishness to have things go our way instead of Gods, and a plethora of other reasons.  

You can't have the kind of faith you need with that kind of mindset.  Especially when you need to go from very little money to financial prosperity.  Good is looking at you to help spread the Gospel.  So if you're not a minister within the church, you need to be a good income earner.  You need to pull yourself out of debt and  get right with your money by allowing God to increase it His way.  

You need to get in line with the ways that God is going to bless you.  This is the point of view you need to have if you are going to get answered prayer.  

This will also set your life on the right course for success and put you right in the flow of God's wealth plan.  Just think, if what you want is first for the sake of God's will, then you won't want to make rash decisions without prayer and guidance. 

You won't want to ask God for money to buy things that aren't good for you, and you won't ever ask for anything you know that isn't God's will.  Thus you will create a life based upon God's blessings from His Word that can only prosper you instead of hurt you the way the world can do in some situations without involving God first. 

 Say This Prayer Of Commitment For Guidance:

"Dear Heavenly Father, this day I commit all of my desires, wants and needs to you first.  All that I desire is first for the good of the Kingdom.  I believe that as I keep this minset,  I can only prosper and grow in the work that you have given me to do. I thank you Father for giving me your wisdom and guidance for my life and life's work along with your mercy and grace.  

Please forgive my sins now as I ask in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank you because I know that I am forgiven.  I know that I am worthy and right with you Father God because you see me through your dear Son and the sacrifice He made on the cross. I can do nothing on my own, but as I walk with you in my job, career or business, I can only succeed and prosper for the sake of the Kingdom which will benefit me beyond my expectations. In Jesus Name, AMEN."
