Book Review
by Margaret Lukasik

In his book, No Innocent Affair: Making Right The Wrong Of Adultery, Edward Mrkvicka takes a huge leap into an area that is very common today--the sin of adultery.  As a veteran lay counselor since the late 1960's, he has helped many couples through this terrible marriage destroyer.

In his attempt to help the person who might be tempted to commit adultery or is contemplating it right now, he has made powerful arguments to show the dangers and everlasting agony of this insidious sin.  He makes clear the fact that the pain caused by adultery not only affects husbands and wives, but also children who become victimized through a parent's affair. Other family members suffer as well.

The prevailing message of No Innocent Affair is that adultery damages all who are touched by it!

Edward clings to the Word of God throughout his book, using Bible verses pertaining to the issues he discusses and his secular opinions for clarity and teaching.  This book is a must read for anyone who is tempted to cheat, while justifying it because of a bad or troubled marriage.

The author's wisdom and years of experience helping people pick up their lives after having an affair, has led to this powerfully written book.  Not only is No Innocent Affair a book for people with troubled marriages, but it is a good source of reading for those entering marriage.  And for those who have already fallen into the trap of adultery, this is a great resource guide for restoration through God's Word.
