How To Develop A Wealthy Life

The wealthy life is based upon a firm foundation of Jesus Christ.  As a Christian there is no other foundation in which to build.

Inner Development

Centering your life upon Christ will give you the ability to build whatever you want upon the truth of God's Word.  It will also see you through all the issues of life successfully, especially those that cause most people to fail.

What do you want today? Do you believe you can have it? If not, there is a way to change what you believe to obtain whatever you desire. But first, it's important to examine what you want.

You must know if you're ready for it and if it's good enough for you.

The secret of a wealthy life is to desire God's best rather than our "having" for the sake of fitting into our environments for acceptance by family, friends, and those we wish to impress.

Looking to God through His Word, will teach us to be acceptable for only one source, our Creator who is always consistent, never changing, and who has given us the power to move mountains.

Just wanting to have what others have keeps us in a state of mediocre thinking. Thus our results are mediocre, even though we may appear to have a successful life. Our hearts will be screaming, "this isn't the real me. Who am I?" (if you're not sure who you are, click on A Wealthy Mind after you have read this article.)

Our unique talents and characteristics expressed through acting upon God's Word which is His wisdom, intelligence, power, and ability will not only give us victory but a success that is fulfilling, unique to who we are at the core of our being.

THIS IS THE REAL SUCCESS TO STRIVE FOR IF YOU CATCH YOURSELF FEELING UNHAPPY ABOUT YOUR LIFE.

You Are Worthy In Christ

Christians who do not believe they deserve anything beyond mere survival are acting and thinking opposite to God's Word. It's all about sacrifice for them, yet secretly they desire to be more, have more, and give more.

I've heard many Christians say, "I admire this or that person so much. He or she has done so much for others. If I had that much money, I'd do the same."

WE ALL HAVE MONEY! God has already provided us with it, but some of us won't take it! We won't do the faith work it takes to receive our abundance for a financially wealthy life.  A well-rounded wealthy life is one that is blessed first from within and as one develops spiritually, they will achieve outward success as a result.  That's not to say that we are blessed with money because of what we do of ourselves, but because we have faith that God has already blessed us because of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us.

Achieving money God's way means that we have developed ourselves in Christ and have the Word deeply rooted in our hearts to produce whatever it is that we need or want that God says in the Bible we can have.

There is absolutely no reason for Christians to get stuck in a place of wishing without receiving.  This will only lead to coveting what others have which goes against the Bible. When this happens, faith is lost in ourselves and God.  We can and should live full, abundant lives because it is our Biblical right.

If you believe this describes you, don't feel discouraged, just move forward and continue acting upon God's Word as you learn it.

Looking To God

It's easy to say we should look to God for having a wealthy life, but how do we do that? By attending church, Bible studies, and holding prayer groups? Those are all good answers, but there is a little more involved. You need to spend private time with God to get to know who He is and to develop a relationship with Him. In the process, you'll get to know yourself and what you really want.

It's when we spend time with God that we learn what's best for us and why we can expect to receive it without struggling and putting ourselves under stress.

Life is busy with careers, higher education, bringing up our children, making our marriages work and giving our time to our churches and community organizations. It's not easy to give God the attention He deserves, but it's way too easy to overlook Him in favor of all our busy activities.

So how can we daily find the time for spiritual growth to express the shining light of God's presence in us?

Simple, we rest in Christ. He already did all the hard work for us, so it is possible for us to take time out for God without our lives falling apart.

And when you consider that God created our lives and desires to be with us and guide us, why would He make us too busy to share our time with Him?

The answer: He didn't!

True Wealth

True wealth comes when we rest in Christ and let go of who we are. We die to ourselves and allow God to build our character and develop us through His Word for the sake of the Kingdom.

If you think that life is only about having stuff and more money to show the world how great you are, then you are not centered upon God and His Word.  We are told to seek first the Kingdom of God and all things will be added to our lives.  So it's God first, not stuff.  We need to keep that order always in order to achieve a wealthy life that is God centered.  If it becomes man centered, it will keep us from growing spiritually.

Your desire to be wealthy financially was put into you by God, but His purpose is first for His Kingdom and to glorify Him. He also wants His children to be well taken care of just like any father does. He's the creator of all things and therefore, the greatest provider for His children.

However, to fully receive the greatest riches in life, we need to do one very spectacular thing; give God the glory for all the good in our lives!

Once you allow God to work through you, you'll work at your greatest ability and succeed at attaining your dreams beyond what you can imagine at the moment --- guaranteed!

God's principles working together can only produce successful results to give you a wealthy life through Christ. So if you believe you can't succeed or that you're not a success right at this moment, your thinking is off the mark.

Your circumstances are not proof that you are a failure! Stop looking at you! See yourself through Christ and then you'll get the true picture of who you are.

By God's grace, you're a success at this moment. Not because of you, but because of the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. He died and rose again after three days for your salvation and for you to give God glory through your life.

So when you question whether it's right or if it's possible for you to live the wealthy life, the only answer can be an emphatic, "YES."
